Masonic Lodge Fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House
Reno, NV, May 9th — Mt. Rose Lodge #40 is hosting a fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern Nevada (RMHC). Ronald McDonald House provides a home-away-from-home for families with children in the hospital.
“Freemasons are closely associated with philanthropy, and Mt. Rose Lodge #40 is excited to fundraise for Ronald McDonald House,” said Ken McKim, Master of Mt. Rose Lodge #40. “Growing up, I was in and out of the hospital all the time. I was lucky that I could get most of my care locally; for those who have to travel for their children’s health care, the Ronald McDonald House steps in and saves the day. I can’t say enough good things about them.”
The fundraiser will be held at Claim Jumper on Wednesday, May 30th between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. To contribute, diners need to bring the event flier (see the link at the top of this page) with them and present it to their server when placing their order. Claim Jumper will set aside 15% of the diner’s pre-tax food and beverage purchase as a donation to RMHC. 100% of the money raised goes to Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern Nevada.
